Wonderful experience. Amazing food. Great service where we were treated as guests to the family. We spent New Years at Millestgården and they went above and beyond to make it an extraordinary evening.

The environment was cozy and it felt like home. I highly recommend if you are looking to be truly relax and away from commercial area.

Pleasant enough but probably wouldn’t stay again
Posted 2 Jan 2019 on HotelsWe had a nice stay here but I do have to say the cleanliness of the room was a worry. We found a used earplug in our bed which had us thinking did they change the sheets at all before we checked in??? While the room was comfortable enough, the bathroom was so tiny you could barely move around in it. Breakfast was extremely limited with not a lot of variety. The staff were nice and facilities of the hotel great. Excellent location not far from town and ski slopes.

I´m so sorry for the incident with the earplug, it makes me as upset as you must have been.
I can asure you that we are changing bedsheets between our guests and if guests stay for more than a week we change them during the stay.
We also have ordered our cleaning-staff to change both beds even if there is just one guest staying in the room. What must have happend here is that one bed was unused and our cleaningstaff ignored the rule to change both beds even if one is unused.
I´m terrible sorry for this and wish you would have told us right away or post this rewiev with a name so we could see who did the room.

Boiled eggs, Two kinds of of warm soft bread, one kind of homemade ,soft bread, three kinds of hard bread, marmelade, locally produced ham, cheese, locally produced ham, yougurt, Eco orangejuice, porage made of oats, chia seeds, linnen seeds who can be topped with eco pumkin seeds,eco sunflower seeds and local lingonberrys, eco milk, eco oatmilk, kaviar, fresh fruits, eco and fairtrade coffé, ginger shoot extremly limited is a bit unfair, but your right we could mix it up a bit more.

A real home from home. Beautiful setting, wonderful rooms and lounge, terrific breakfast made from local ingredients and an extraordinary welcome. The owners bent over backwards to help and ensure we were comfortable. Can’t wait to go back.

The best staff!
Posted 26 Mar 2018 on HotelsBrilliant, rustic, homely feeling hotel that was very clean. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile to ensure you have a great and memorable stay. Food offered at the hotel is of excellent quality, local produce and traditional recipies that not only taste delicious but are also very healthy. Location is a small walk to the Duved slopes but if you are arriving by car car this is the ideal location as it is quiet and a great place to relax and is less than a two minute drive to the slopes where parking is free and abundant. Overall a fantastic place that we woukd reccomend to anyone. We hope to return to the Åre area in the near future and we will 100% be coming back here.
