This was best described by another guest in conversation as "like you are coming home".
Even though the building is old it doesn't feel like it but as a serviced apartment is just 'cool'. It is immaculately clean and excellently furnished. The size of the apartment is also very good as it feels like you are moving between rooms not just in an oversized hotel room.

It is a beautful staircase though that winds its way up the building. We have on our booking platforms that there is no lift.

Fabulous location, well equipped apartments
Posted 6 Jan 2024 on HotelsThe Majestic Mansions provides spacious apartment accommodation minutes from the sea front in St Clair.
Separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and lounge room gives you all the space you need and all the equipment and appliances to be as self contained as you like.
There are restaurants and cafes a stone's throw away and you'll be on the seafront in a minutes walk.
Dunedin City is a short drive away providing lots to do and see.
We were able to get the free undercover parking every time without effort which was a real boon. The only negative is the steps up from the street and internally if you are not on the ground floor. We were on the ground floor and steps were not a deal breaker for us.
