No parking but public parking across the street, only pay between 8 and 6 am so if out most of the day it is inexpensive.

The hotel is a wonderful old building that has been lovingly maintained. Our room was fine, everything was clean, tidy and worked and we got what we paid for. The restaurant was excellent. It had grandeur, it was flooded with light, offered views over the Tay, drink and food options were very good and reasonably priced. While there was no car park, one across the road offered reasonable rates and was convenient. The Discovery and V&A are a 5 min walk and are excellent. Why not a 5* rating? Like many old cities, Dundee has some wonderful buildings but needs a lot of TLC, including the area around the hotel where some construction is ongoing which when complete will sadly reduce the Tay view further.

It was quite expensive but it is very convenient to all the top facilities in Dundee city centre

location is ideal for a base whilst in Dundee
However we had room 603 - it was like downhill a ski slope in there, woke up hanging out bottom of bed. The
room was extremely dark
