The rooms were drab, dark, old and small - it felt very crammed with all the furniture in it. There was a small fridge in the room, which was great, but there was no bottled water in the room and we had been told not to drink the tap water.
The bathroom especially, was very poor - it had cracked tiles in the shower and weak water pressure, no shelves for toiletries, and the cistern took forever to fill up. We were also very surprised that there were no tissues or disposal plastic bags for sanitary towels, in the bathroom.
One other observation that was quite irritating, was that on a Friday night, their pub was closed when we went there for a nightcap at 21H15 - I mean that's really early on a weekend night.

Thankfully, this is not our venue. None of our rooms at Field and Stream have fridges in them, our showers do not have tiles, we always have plastic bags for sanitary towels available and we do not have a pub on the premises. In addition, our water is absolutely fine to drink and people in fact often bring extra water containers when they come so that they can take our good water back home with them, as our water supply is from a natural spring that arises on the farm.
We therefore request that this guest report be withdrawn with immediate effect.
