This was a great hotel. Location was wonderful - in the city center. There is not an elevator - would you expect one in this old city? Front desk staff was helpful. helped carry our luggage up to our rooms. We did get our exercise going to and from our rooms, but this could be said for the entire city. If you expected it to be flat walking, you didn't do any research about where you were going. Offered four breakfast choices and it was delivered to our room at a time of our choosing between 7 am and 10:30 am. When we had to leave for the airport before 7 am, they gave us ham and cheese sandwiches for us to eat the next morning. Our room had windows facing the alleyway so the noise from the Irish pub across from the hotel could be heard until about 1 am. Bring earplugs or a sound machine if noise bothers you. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Really nice hotel in the old city. We stayed in an airb&b out of the city center for three days. It was a walking disaster due to the hundreds of steps. We should have stayed at the Scalini Palace the entire time in Dubrovnik.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Great view from our room up 4 flights of stairs. Some maintenance needed - no shower door in the bathroom and water faucet drips. Still we were comfortable and found the hotel to be a good value. The breakfast provided was pretty terrible- the worst coffee.

Fantastic location in the Old City, so full of character and close to all the sites. Unfortunately let down somewhat by the communication (no one on the desk when we arrived, had to phone), the rooms and staff responsiveness (broken shower head which was never repaired), and the lack of any contact until the last day when they wanted to collect tourist tax

Posted 11 Mar 2024 on HotelsPerfect location and perfect apartment for our needs. Very quiet but maybe due to season. Lovely hot shower. We had room 7, top floor so ALOT of steps and no lift. Fine for us but a potential problem for others.
