The staff was amazing!!! They helped us on our lost luggage and went above and beyond!!!

Great location and amenities, friendly & helpful staff, lovely bar & restaurant with live music. Would definitely stay there again!

Just happened to stumble upon The Harding Hotel and glad I did! The room was clean and plenty of space for two people. Loved the bar downstairs and that it was in walking distance to everything you need in Dublin.

The Harding Hotel rooms are dated and lack charm. The bed was very uncomfortable. There was a tiny 1 inch ledge into the bathroom which, even with a light bar (which was too bright while sleeping) made us trip and stub our toe many times. The room was hot with no way to change the heat and the windows did not open. We were told we should park in Q Park at Christ Church, but when we went to leave, this garage would NOT take American credit cards without a pin. We tried 3 different credit cards. It also wouldn’t take cash. When I called the hotel for guidance so we could get out of the hotel, the first woman I spoke to was sympathetic and tried to help, but she then passed me to her supervisor who was very rude and was more interested in not taking the blame for us parking there than actually helping us get out of the garage. After 20 minutes, my husband was able to show a kind man our issue and he paid with his credit card and we gave him cash. The hotel is located within good walking range from everything in Dublin, but I wouldn’t stay there again!

Dear Molly,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of the Harding Hotel following your recent stay.I am so sorry to read that we did not meet your expectations during your recent stay.All bedroom windows do open - the room you were in has 2 x Velux brand windows that you use the bar along the top of the window to pull open/push close.Should any guests ever have difficulty with windows we have a 24 hour desk to assist.All rooms have AC units to control the heat/cooling in the rooms. They are controllable by a remote control left in the room. Currently AC units are set on a gentle heat mode but can easily be shifted to cooling mode where the fan speed and temperature are easily set for the guests' own preference.Again should any guest need assistance with the AC unit in their rooms we have a 24 hour desk willing to assist.Car parking is outside of our control - we recommend guests use a close by public car park, Q Park at Christchurch, and have arranged a discounted rate for hotel guests.At the pay machine there should be an intercom for Q Park staff to assist as well an small office beside the exit barrier where during daytime hours there is usually a member of Q Park staff present.I have sent them your issues with payment as we were under the impression that their pay machines take card & cash.Card payments for cards without pins has never ever been an issue for any Harding Hotel guests that we have been made aware of.I am awaiting their response and will share with you whenever they reply.I am sorry that you felt the response from the Harding was lacking in any way and that you felt uncomfortable in your room - again I only wish we could have been made aware of any in-room issues during your 2 night stay to try and resolve them while you were inhouse.With best regards,Jonathan HynesManager

This Hotel is old but very nice and we loved, very friendly staff and you will love the Pub
