Subpar service at best
Posted 12 Feb 2024 on HotelsUnfortunately, the experience was rather poor. Check in took 45 mins, only one counter was open and they were very slow.
No drinks were offered, no apologies or courtesy extended for the long wait time.
Arabic coffee was out in the waiting space.
Hair dryer was missing in the room and was later replaced but the new one was broken.
Remote control that controls nearly all the functions in the room including tv, in room dining, temperature was broken.
One hour later, IT came to fix it after calling multiple times as the room was freezing and we couldn’t change the temperature.
Requested plates and cutlery in room and had to call 4x and wait 45 minutes to receive them. Food was cold by then.
Front desk staff was fairly rude and unhelpful on multiple occasions when we flagged issues in the room.
Room cleaning and valet staff are nice.
Hotels location is great as it connects to Marina mall and the hotel is clean but other than that, no real reason to stay here.

Beautiful quiet and contemporary rooms, our stay here was perfect. The pool area and food service was impeccable and great fun. The concierge team and Rayan in particular were outstanding and made everything easy.
