Everyone at the property was so helpful and pleasant. The room was nice and spacious, clean & the balcony area overlooked the pool area and the beach which was an amazing view. Taxi/Uber service was easily accessible.

Nice location for Palm. Be careful of the 'partial sea view' room as was virtually no view

Stayed at the W palm during feb 2024 half term with 2 and 5 year olds, the staff were great with the children which made the holiday so much more enjoyable. Hotel is trendy, and busy at weekends (esp Friday but all of Dubai is as expats party in the hotels), but we just went out for the day. There are adult only areas, which is fine as still pool/beach/kids club/restaurants you can use. Dubai has so many choices when looking for a hotel, but I’d recommend the W for families.

Great hotel for adults, but two areas for improvement to be considered a family friendly hotel. 1) Loud music most nights making it difficult with young children; and 2) Food options for children weren't great as part of the half board package

We stayed at the W hotel for 5 nights and the hotel in the weekend is a club rather than a 5* hotel. Music is blasting from different directions literally all day/night. The hotel beach and swimming pool areas were populated by huge number of external guests and that really spoiled the hotel environment and the service one would expect from a 5* hotel. If you want to stay in a hotel that feels like a club in Ibiza, then this is a perfect place for you. If you want a relaxing and a nice ambient hotel with good service, then go elsewhere. Note: it was better during the week days but unfortunately the weekend situation killed the hotel for us.

Never came back again.Ther day before we were to leave my wife had a bad case of food poising from one of the restaurants in the hotel. My wife was very sick, and I needed to call the doctor as she was very unwell (shacking, dehydrated, body aching then diarrhea and vomiting over 20 times with a temperature in excess of 38* to 39*). The doctor came and put her on IV drip (4 different drips), plus medication. To make it worse my wife was bed ridden, we were all stressed, and I advised the reception that night that we would need to hold the room. They said it’s fine (no one has booked the room to date) and available to finalise in the morning. To my dismay they then advised us we had to relocate to another smaller room the following day, whilst my wife was still in pain, lying in bed with still symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting. Whilst being sick my wife had to pack her bags with us and relocate to another floor which was way further from the lifts which aggravated my wife to walk further. I believe before you give this room away it should be fully sterilised by health requirements which shocked me that it was leased to another party in a couple hours, we vacate the room. We are very disappointed with the hotel and the way we have been treated, saying you probably got it from eating out of the hotel, but this was not the case as we didn’t leave the hotel for 2 days prior. My daughter then got an eye infection and temperature over 39*, doctor believes it was from the pool
