Great place and stay just too many children. Also the bar opens at 1030 and closes at 0230 and no drinks allows in your room or outside the bar areas. But other than that great stay

I enjoyed my stay at the RIU back in 2022, that is why I came back to stay with my family in 2024. Staff members are really only downside is that we had gotten such our last 2 days there. It was something we had eaten. Other than that, things were great!!

We love it the staffed,food and cleanest i will recommend any to stayed in the riu dubai. Excellent service. We stayed there for 10 days with my of 20 persons is was awesome.

The meals and dining option was a disappointment. Breakfast was the same everyday I was tired of eggs by the 3rd day. They often only change one ingredient in the meal options daily. Example, chocolate chip pancakes change to raisin or the chick peas in the Indian vegetarian option change to green peas. Don’t bother to bring anything classy to wear to the “restaurants.” ALL meals are buffet style including the specialty restaurants you must use the RIU app to make reservation for. I also noticed three people sticking their hands directly into the buffet tray and popping the food directly in their mouth. I notified staff and they didn’t even remove the tray. For late night they only have burgers, hotdogs and mini chocolate muffins. One morning I went to the continental breakfast only to see the leftovers from the late night food options. I notified front desk about this. After the 2nd night we stop having dinner there and just go out to eat a late lunch and have dinner before we get back. The staff was pleasant, rooms kept clean and the beach has ample lounge chairs and umbrella. Was difficult to use the pool as their were filled with kids. Overall I wouldn’t go back.

We have stayed at several Riu resorts over the past several years so we already know what to expect. I was shocked that we were unable to take food and drinks out of bar area. We flew for 16hours and arrived at 11p so the restaurants were closed, we stopped at the 24 reception bar to grab a sandwich and a drink to take to our room, we were stopped at the door and informed that we had to finish in the bar. There were no seats available because the area is small and everyone was pretty much hanging out because the entertainment was done for the evening. So we had to stand up to eat our burger and drink our beverages. Normally there is a alcohol dispenser located in the rooms at every Riu we have ever stayed at but not this one the mini bar was juice boxes, sodas and water that's refilled every other day. So after a day of excursions and touring Dubai, you really can not unwind in the bar because it's too small and crowded, and you can not unwind in your room because there's no dispensers in the room. No face/wash cloths in the rooms had to request. We stayed at another Riu last year and was informed that they were no longer going to offer them only hand towels and body towels. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but not happy with the new beverage rule. This makes your resort fall on the same lines as a regular/ mediocre resort.
