My message to the unresponsive general manager during my stay. Mr. Chadha: I’ve stayed at Marriotts globally for 212 nights in 2023, using both the Bonvoy app and third-party sites, drawn by the exceptional service of your Marriott colleagues. However, my experience at the Four Points by Sharjah has been profoundly disappointing, marking my worst Marriott stay. The furniture from the lobby to the room is noticeably stained. Near the cafe, the business center computers are surrounded by biting gnats/insects. Last night, I reached out through the Bonvoy chat, stranded downtown for over an hour, unable to secure an Uber back to the hotel since all Ubers demanded cash. I requested a paid hotel car service, but your staff directed me to call reception, despite being just feet away. I ordered room service roasted buffalo wings, only to receive nearly raw wings floating in a deep bowl of sugary sauce with white rice. When I sought management through your front desk staffer Hossam, he smirked, falsely claiming he was the sole staff member, just before four others emerged from the back office. Marriott’s reputation for safety, professional customer service, cleanliness, and cuisine is why I travel with the brand. It’s disheartening that Four Points Sharjah falls short of these standards. The staff were polite, friendly and courteous. A.big shout out to Mohain, the staff (gentleman) in the gym area & the rest of the staff.

Excellent stay

Unfortunately can’t rate below 1 star. My room smelled like cigarettes and industrial strength air freshener, despite asking for a non-smoking room. The air freshener was so harsh I woke up with a sore throat and nasal issues. Was told the room was non-smoking…clearly a lie. And was told I couldn’t switch rooms because they overbooked the hotel…and is this my problem or their? All in all, the manager continued to lie about the room being non-smoking - when it clearly was. This is barely a 1 star hotel.

The worst hotel we ever stayed in. The whole building including the rooms, hallways reeked of smoking. We had a whole wedding party staying there and we had about 6-7 rooms and pretty much everyone had to change rooms because of smoking smells. And even after changing rooms, we had to live with the smell. If I were staying there by myself and was not part of the wedding party, I would have checked out the next day. The area around the building was dirty and congested. Only good thing i would say about this hotel was the staff in the dining area, very polite, courteous and professional.
