Only complaint (very minor) the toilet was not bolted down securely, and the shower curtain rod was loose making the curtain slide open on both ends. I had to dry water off the floor after showering.

This is our first time staying at Microtel. We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. The room is smaller but sufficient with everything the larger rooms supply. Our room had a window seat which was comfortable for the two of us to relax and watch the sunset. The facility is well maintained and the staff very pleasant. Highly recommended.

Staff seemed nice. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Hot water for tea was lukewarm Monday and Tuesday morning but nice and hot Wednesday. The bedside lamp in our room didn’t work on one side of the bed.

Old, mold in the bathroom, poor breakfast selection; staff was friendly enough but not "self-starters" (reactive but not proactive--had to ask for everything to be replenished)
