The proprietors are lovely, friendly and full of information about the area. Easy to talk to and very accommodating. Food was great!! Cooked just as we asked. Quiet and comfortable accomodations. Highly recommend.

New beds please.
Posted 5 Oct 2023 on HotelsHotel was lovely. Well decorated and friendly, helpful hosts. Public areas and the rooms are comfortable and of a high standard. Kettle and tea/coffee in room were of high quality.
However, it was let down by poor quality beds that had a weak base and were not suitable for large adults. They broke immediately upon sitting on the mattress. This will be a lovely hotel when beds are replaced with units that are suitable for enduring use by multiple guests.

Delicious dinner options

Off the beaten track, but very nice location for traveling the NC500.
