This hotel is well maintained, but simple. It is a place to stay when you just need a nice safe place to sleep. The staff were very straightforward (the stereotype of a German), but helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is next to an industrial site that seems to store waste bins, so it had the smell of mulch (not unpleasant to me, but be aware). All of the rooms require climbing stairs, which is an important consideration for some people. Free onsite parking, and they allowed us to keep our car there after check-out while we went sightseeing.

It would have been very kind of you if you had tould us in the morning what you missed at our German buffet; of course for price of 7,50€ it is no hot buffet then it would cost about double price! But you could have got e.g. scambled eggs at extra order.

Posted 17 Aug 2017The+hotel+has+certain+hours+to+check+in%2C+which+is+inconvenient.+The+area+where+the+hotel+is+located+is+not+pretty%2C+but+if+you+have+a+car+is+just+10+minute+drive+to+the+Dresden.+Wifi+was+not+good.+

Posted 25 Oct 2015 on HotelsThe hotel location was good, literally 2 minutes off the motorway. Owners nice and very accommodating - provided bowl of boiling hot water to wash baby's bottles. Big room and comfortable bed. The only hiccup was the mirror above the suitcase rack. It was not fixed to the wall, just stood on two tiny pins. Fell on my partner when he opened the suitcase. Big and heavy wooden frame. Don't want to think what could happened if it fell on our 3 years old daughter... Hope owners fixed that now, but just in case if you are staying there check the mirrors and over hanging stuff.
