Great hotel! Clean and beautiful interior! Edgar’s is lovely for a drink. Check in was smooth. Room was lovely and big. Noisy from the street in the middle of night but that’s not the hotels fault - just wanted to warn so you can use ear plugs…

Key card error prohibited us from getting our keys and they promised to deliver to room, but didn’t. Restaurant and valet did not answer phones. The restaurant voicemail was full. The hotel telephone answering system is an excruciating painful automated process that either redirects your to hotel again even though you thought you called the hotel number on the site, or makes it so confusing to find a live person to talk to. The phone in the room did not work. Street noise outside carries upward to room.

Hotel had $25 Destination Fee, which turned out to be a hidden fee that was not propetly disclosed agead of time. It was sipposed to be applied to restaurant and Uber rides, but it was not explained by staff. We could not apply it to Uber and restaurant discount was not a discount.

Great location, historic, clean and very comfortable, but for $400/night you would expect better service and hospitality, and most importantly additional amenities in the rooms like water, a full minibar, and room service after 10pm
