No clock in room. Remote control with no directions/remote control key pad extremely confusing.

Overall, our stay was great. The room was large and nicely furnished. Plus, we had a great view of the city and the water! The staff was very nice, helpful and professional! We will stay here again. Though it would have been nice for a hotel of this caliber and price to give their guests a couple of bottles of water. The health club could use some more equipment including resistance bands and training straps.

Hotel has a great collection of glass art. Unfortunately, carpeting is run down, rooms only have black out curtains. First they gave us a room on the second floor, you could see people on the street and obviously they could see you. We asked for another room and they gave us one on the 18th floor. Was better but still no curtains. Fortunately we were so high it didn’t matter. Breakfast was so, so. Staff was friendly but bacon was tough as a shoe sole. We left with the impression they had financial problems.

I had higher expectations of the hotel based off previous reviews and it being described as ‘luxury.’ Our king room was average and needed a good dusting. The glass top bathroom counters had prints on them and overall you can see the room needed a good deep clean and some freshening up. The shampoo brand used smelled good but was low quality and left your hair feeling tough. Some pros, was that our bathroom was stocked with lots of towels & wash cloths which was great. The check in experience was hassle free & the staff were kind. The proximity of the parking lot to the hotel is easy & accessible-we never had to search for a parking spot. We didn’t really explore the hotel, it was overall just calm, well furnished but needed some minor straightening up when walking thru at the end of the night. The exterior of property was clean-maybe would suggest some well placed fresh floral pots/design by the entry ways to brighten up the facade.

Enjoyed it more last time. Bar and restaurant not open very many hours. No new art. Computers were down and couldn’t check in immediately. Room looked tired.

The Murano hotel is conveniently located in downtown Tacoma in walking distance from the museums we wanted to visit. The interior of the hotel is beautiful and decorated with glass art. The only downside was that only 1 out of 6 EV chargers on the parking lot was for non-Tesla vehicles. And that place was taken by a car which was finished charging but the owner didn’t bother to free the parking space. I wish the administration of the hotel would monitor such situations.
