Very little information was available by the hotel, ie. no papers or folders giving information in the room about dining, breakfast, room ammentities, etc. when I asked about refills for the coffee machine in my room,I was told that the desk area didn't have any, and that I would have had to request housekeeping to clean the room that morning to get some. NOTHING was said about that when I checked in for a 2 day stay and nothing was in my room to inform me of that.

Original room booked was not as advertised. We were downgraded to a second floor room with poor lighting very small windows. Hotel appeared to be mostly vacant. Very few other visitors. We’re not offered to upgrade. Hotel staff was either unavailable with will be back soon notice for hours or completely unhelpful. Requested an extra pillow reply that’s not available. Breakfast was terrible and dining area not well stocked. One day doors were locked with no breakfast available. Location central to Springfield was only good thing about it. Would not recommend or return

Had no toilet paper in the bathroom. When I went to go get some from the front desk I had to wait forever before anyone came to the desk. The shower had water and soap left in the soap dish.
The room was a nice room we have stayed here before and enjoyed it. We understand things happen people are human and they make mistakes we will be back

We have aware of the issues that arose from the staff shortage at our hotel. After working diligently on finding capable staff for weeks, we assure you that most of issues were temporary as we are fully staffed now.

I was guaranteed a view of the capital with a king suite which had NO view, was rather dated & no one was available at the front desk on many occasions!
No breakfast on one day when it was to be concluded! Should get a discount as there was nothing out!

We appreciate your business. Despite being right across from the Capitol, none of the rooms of the hotel have a view of the capitol building due to its physical layout. Consider the location of the capitol as where the dot is on a lower case 'i' or looking south. The windows of all the rooms are facing east and west and there are no rooms facing the north or south. The weekend hours for breakfast are from 7 am to !0 am.

Great location. Quiet hotel, well priced. Staff were not welcoming or helpful. Complimentary breakfast did not exist.

Located close to the historic downtown area of Springfield, nothing bad to say about this place.
