Innkeepers where very friendly and knowledgeable of the area, breakfast was great, and clean and comfortable rooms.

We were told that no two rooms were identical. There are three or four discrete structures, each with its own character and set of rooms. We were upgraded to a suite at no additional charge. The selection of furniture and fabrics were spot on and authentic in feel. The decor is not Shabby Chic-filtered Southwest kitsch.
The encountered staff were congenial and helpful. The breakfast spread was varied and ranged from the savory to the sweet. For the price this was as great a bargain as I have encountered in my domestic travels.

Overall the property should have been rated as 2-3 star. Expedia had advertised it as a 4-4.5 very disappointing star. The room had a very unhealthy and strong pest spray repellent smell throughout our stay. The TV room couch was very dirty & old. The bedspread & bed headboard was an old dirty-looking fabric cover. Shelvings and furniture were dirty and dusty.
