The hotel gives a boutique vibe and is very cozy. I only stayed for a night, but it was very clean, very comfortable, the staff was very kind, check in/ check out was a breeze, and I would absolutely stay here again. The parking deck next door wasn’t bad either with being only $15 if you enter after 6pm and leave before 11am the next morning.

We have stayed at this property several times over the last dozen years -the last time about three years ago - always parking in the nearby public garage and eating at Tobacco Road across the street. On this occasion we could not access the public garage because the ticketing machine was not working, so we parked on the street alongside the hotel. However we were both unable to sleep due to the very loud noises, many of them shouts, outside. Because some seemed to be altercations, we became concerned about the safety and security of our car, which was loaded with luggage. So we decided that remaining through the night was too risky, so we got up, dressed and left the hotel at 2:30 am and resumed our drive north

We stayed at The Berkeley for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience. Parking was easy - we were able to find street parking (not monitored over the weekend days), but the staff said they would be available to assist with valet in the instance we were unable to find any parking on the street nearby. The staff was wonderful. Everyone from the cleaning crew to the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and had an acceptable amount of wear and tear that you'd expect from a hotel this age. You can't beat the price and location - we will definitely be back for another stay the next time we're in town.

I liked everything about this hotel....I specially loved that we walked to dinner and felt safe.

Bathroom was ancient and dirty,rubber mat for bath so you won’t fall,one tiny bar of soap the size of a quarter,no glasses just small paper cups,air conditioner louder then a freight train, Bulds out , vents disgusting,All and all a nice place to board your dog
