STAFF WAS EFFICIENT & FRIENDLY. I LEFT A DOP KIT
AND MANAGEMENT MAILED TO MY HOME.
STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. THE ROOM DECOR WAS RUN DOWN, OLD, APPEARED TO COME FROM THRIFT STORE. NEEDS MAJOR UPGRADE.

I was surprised and delighted with the almost “boutique” type setting. In the heart of the city with many walkable amenities! Very clean. We only stopped for an overnight on our way through albeit next time we plan to stay an extra day or two we liked it that much.

I have to admit when I first pulled up, I was sceptical. But it's actually a very nice, cozy place. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms could do with some fixing up but for me it is all about location, location, location. Sole has the perfect location!
Odd Colony Brewery is right next door. Charming place with a great vibe, people and beer. And all the shopping and food options on beautiful Palafox...can't beat it. (Fosko Coffee Barre...order your coffee, a breakfast bun and walk all the way to the back. You won't be disappointed!)
I couldn't believe how quiet it was as well for a Saturday night. Never heard another guest. Sole is definitely my and my bfs new place to stay in downtown Pensacola!

The bathroom shower showed signs of mold and water damage on the ceiling

The hotel is right downtown. Walkable to most everything you want to do in Pensacola. Its quite an old hotel but seems to have been updated nicely. They provide a pretty basic breakfast but more impressively we enjoyed their nightly reception. This included complimentary food. (Nachos with multiple toppings available) on the night we stayed. They also offered complimentery wine and beer. This was quite a surprise and delight bacause normally those benefits are only found in a very few upscale hotels. The room was clean and compfortable. No complaints. This hotel will be on our short list when we come back to town
