I wish the balconyvwas bigger but the housekeeping staff made up for it. Came in the middle of the night to chsngecout our bed after my grandson got ill.

Great location and staff was fantastic! Bad: hotel needs updating, smells like mildew, hot water didnt work in room most times, stayed here for the poolbar that was supposed to be open in may but was still not open June 2. No towels in the pool area. Parking was tricky at times as the lot was full. The building itself could use some upgrades, but again, the staff was great, room was clean and great location.

I stayed at the Tidelands 10 years ago. It was a very nice place at that time. The staff are still wonderful, but the hotel itself needs a little help. They need to retrain their housekeeping staff. Corners of the rooms to include the bathroom, were dirty. The toilet wiggled when you sat down, the curtains were sagging from the tops and/or they weren't hooked to the curtain rod and this was in both suites that we were in. The rooms need painting/freshening up, especially so early in the season. I don't care that they are a bit outdated. The AC was fabulous, the beds are extremely comfortable and the lay out of the suites is great. The pool nor the pool bar in the Suite bldg was open despite being told that it was, and signs posted stating that the new pool bar would be open in May 2024. I absolutely loved when the Crab Factory Pool Bar was there - sad that it is now gone. The elevator in the Suite bldg has the same loud, constant buzzing noise that it had 10 years ago - I found this amusing to be honest. Overall the hotel is convenient to everything, the suites aren't bad and the most impressive quality is the staff. They are amazing and go above and beyond to accommodate the guests.

First the pictures submitted on their site are NOT current my trip was solely based off the pics advertised is a pool which was not open during our stay even tho their were signs all over the property saying opening may 24 we were also told via pics there was a bar and food options which were also not available had we known these things we would’ve went to a cheaper hotel option instead of paying over $400 for a one night stay …… then the guy at the front desk i don’t know if he was overwhelmed but the greeting wasn’t friendly nor sincere parking was a absolute mess we parked at another hotel and had to walk with our luggage to our rooms … there is only one elevator the wait is absolutely insane ..the bathroom was a mess it hadn’t been clean prior to our checking in i did bring it to the front desk attention and he did alert them quickly but all she did was bring some disinfectant which did nothing at all. All in all I’m very disappointed about this stay it was not worth $400 and quiet frankly i really feel like i shouldn’t have been charged …The only plus and highlight of this trip was the location and that is all

The hotel was clean but we had to listen to a dog next door to us howl and bark and cry all day and all night long we barely slept last night and we told the front desk two different times and it was never taken care of so we decided to leave a night early bc we wouldn't be able to sleep . The hotel was supposed to be no dogs aloud but obviously that wasn't true. We are dog people but hearing a dog bark and howl all day and night is a little ridiculous.

The big TV didn't work at all and the curtains didn't close

Worst place ever , bad service , no ac , tv shut off nonstop , noisy , slipped on the floor because they had plastic down for painting and no signs or grip for your feet. I had said something to the person checking me out about the ac and services. Response was “ oh really “ and left , ridiculous didn’t offer reimbursement of anything or even an apology. Worst place ever down in ocmd.
