We were never notified that the pool was under maintenance prior to our stay and weren’t told at checking. We happened to see a sign in the elevator after we got our room keys! The only reason we stayed was to relax by the pool and celebrate our anniversary! We heard the wind blowing against the window all night, so we got no sleep.

Our room has a dirty bathroom floor with visible dirty boot prints. We let the front desk know and asked for it be cleaned while we out to dinner. Came back a couple hours later and the floor hadn’t been clean. Called down the front desk multiple time and no one answered. Seriously question what else has not been cleaned.

Check in person was great. Valet person was great. All the rooftop bar staff is attentive and full of personality. Definitely recommend.

Unless your driving a car there’s nowhere to park this place is valet only and they screw you for $40 a night. If you drive a truck I was told I’d have to park in front of a home in the neighborhood. This place sucks. Burn holes in the carpet. Bathroom lighting was horrible. One would think that a Kimpton would have a real shower instead of a tub. There’s a Springhill Suite close by an 10 times nicer.
