Great spot for everything we wanted to do downtown. Most things are within half mile walking distance of the hotel. Only complaint about the hotel was our king size bed had 2 very small throw size pillows with pillow cases on them and 2 standard size pillows. Super small and flat pillows for a king size bed?? We did call down and ask for more pillows which the hotel quickly brought up to us, so this was easily remedied.

Older hotel but close to downtown.

We sincerely appreciate your feedback and we are very sorry you were unhappy with the age of our hotel. Our lobby and elevators were just renovated this past spring and we are scheduled for a room's renovation in 2025. The hotel is just walls that can be newly built or a bit older as our is. The staff here is what makes this hotel such a special place and THEY make the difference in your stay.

It’s a shady area of Austin.

The local and state Lodging Associations continue to work the mayor and city council to address the homeless issue within our city. I can understand your concerns as certainly this is not in line with the experience our city strives to and consistently provides to our visitors. The area of town is ok for downtown. Several blocks from restaurants or shops. Campus too far to walk. Rooms are very noisy especially in the morning. Can hear other rooms using their restroom. Water running, toilet flushing, talking, all can be heard very clearly. The restaurant food was delicious but pricey.
