We stayed one night and the bathroom tub drain was clogged. They did not have a plunger in the apartment and did not respond quickly to my notification. We had to shower under that condition which was pretty nasty. What really surprised us is that when we were checking out, the reception desk mentioned that they were notified about our situation and that they were sorry. The word sorry in customer service is not a good solution. If you are really sorry, you take some sort of corrective action. These folks did not even try. Very unfortunate 😞. Other than this unacceptable incident, the property met our expectations which were not very high. The shower clog thing is completely avoidable if you manage properly.

Spacious and well equipped rooms. Superb view over lake. Staff friendly and attentive. Restaurant not one of the best.
Drains in bathrooms emitted stale smell.

Villa Huapi Dina Huspi has excellent views of Nahuel Huapi lake. Our two rooms were beautiful, comfortable and clean. Reception personnel (especially Sebastian) were very amicable and willing to go the extra step to help their guests. A true awesome experience. Looking forward to come back!

Good hotel with very bad staff

But we already pay the three days and then when we leaving they said you have to pay taxes 25% and they didn’t told us when we were checking in. They are chorros thieves i like the hotel alot and very comfortable but they are uneducated and will behave very bad with people.

Good morning Sr Muhammad Nadir,
Regarding your reservations with us you have already been denounced to Expedia due to your situation in the Hotel.
As you were told 21% VAT is subject to submit tourist documentation and pay by credit card issued abroad, as indicated by the Argentine regulations.
You did not have tourist documentation because you are an Argentine resident, therefore you were informed in the check out that you would have to pay the VAT tax for your reservations, as also reported in his Hotels.com booking confirmation.
However, you went to the hotel access control and told security that you were going to leave for a moment but you would return and come back to reception to make the payment, so security facilitated you the exit. But you never came back.
We consider your attitude completely fraudulent and malicious, taking advantage of the good disposition of the hotel and its staff. The tax could not be charged as you left a fraudulent guarantee card.
Therefore we consider the comment left by this client totally defamatory and false.
We have already reported to Hotels.com as I said before as you are a gold customer so they can take action.
We believe that these activities are very damaging to the hospitality industry, and we hope that both Expedia and Hotels.com can help us to prevent situations like these from recurring.
