Motel 6ish bit ok

Husband and wife proprietors were hardly ever at the desk. Breakfast? Coffee, left over milk, dry cerial and yogurt with some bananas. Rather old property as general condition was that of a madeover property not one that was renovated. Ned was good and ao was TV. Great Mexican food restaurant a walk across the parking lot (100 yards) and a convenience stor/has station next door for amy other smack, mesico e, coffee or booze needs. Reminded me of a Motel 6. Definitely just ok but as a stop over its just fine.

In advertisements said free breakfast. I called before making reservations and clarified. Continental or eggs, waffles and the time served. They said from 6 am till 9:30 am. New Years night, so we were partying till 1:30 am so it was difficult to get up and be in front for 9 am. There was only Continental. With very little set up. No eggs, waffles. Disappointed!! We ate at Waffle House near by.

THEY DO NOT CLEAN THE ROOMS IF YOU STAY MORE THAN ONE NIGHT THEY JUST PUT NEW TOWLES IN THE ROOM
I HAD BOOKED A ROOM WITH A KING BED AND ASK TO CHANGE TO A ROOM WITH TWO QUEEN BEDS WHEN I GOT THE AND THE PRICE WENT UP A LOT I ENDED UP PAYING $224.00 FOR A TWO NIGHT STAY

Stayed here while visiting our grandparents. It was great for the price! We are from Texas, so to us the whole city seemed a bit run down and sketchy - but I imagine if you’re staying in diamondhead you already know that/know what to expect. I were told this is the nicer hotel of the two - and I’m glad we stayed there. Will definitely consider staying there again next time we visit! Only 6 minutes from the country club.
