"Fabulous historic hotel with tremendous charm in the heart of quirky Glastonbury. We had a large room with a beautiful four poster bed. The bathroom was modern (except for the separate hot & cold water taps on the sink). I was not comfortable with the intrusive information requests and privacy waivers required to use the hotel Wi-Fi so did not use it."

"Our stay was for only one night and overall was a very pleasant stay. We opted for the Cereal breakfast which in our mind equated to a continental style breakfast. Unfortunately there were no croissants or ham and cheese, just a bit of toast and some jam / honey plus cereal mainly from packets. Very disappointing especially since I had noticed the bakery van arrive earlier that morning. Overall a lovely hotel has let itself down with an uninspiring attempt at breakfast."

"The Waverley has everything you want for a short stay, rooms are clean and fresh, shower room is ensuite and modern and there is plenty of tea & coffee (and biscuits) in the room. In the room we stayed in there was a large wardrobe and drawer chest. Bed was new and firm. Breakfast has a good range of options including cooked and continental"

"The staff were all really friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The parking (albeit a bit tight to get into) was easy and really secure. The bar and restaurant were both lovely and the food was of a good standard. Negatives: Our room (above the bar) was noisy both from the bar and from the busy road.
