"It has a quality 4-star feel. We did the 40-minute private onsen and had one in our room. The buffet, including all you can drink, had a good variety of Japanese and Western options. It’s close to the pirate ship and ropeway if interested. Otherwise, it’s remote, but that was important to us. We’ll be back."

"Quite location with a grocery store nearby. Rooms are quite dark and could be cleaner, especially the sofa and in room onsen would deserve an upgrade. Plenty of food for dinner and breakfast, however, we would prefer less but better quality. Onsen with the forest view was nice."

"Wonderful Royakan. Rooms very clean. Staff were friendly or very accommodating. The food was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner for our 2 night stay. Would love to go back. The grounds were beautiful."
