Outstanding stay at this beautiful lake side hotel. Fabulous breakfast and we also stayed for the grill buffet in the evening which was great. The onsen was great too with an amazing setting. Thank you.
Beautiful view of Lake Ashi and Mt Fuji from our balcony. Great buffet breakfast. Staff were helpful. Nice big room with all amenities. Open air onsen was a new experience for me that i really enjoyed.

Pros:
-Staff were all very friendly and helpful
-The room was very impressive
-The view from the rooms and hotel are stunning
-Transportation is available at the hotel if needed
-beds are very comfortable compared to other places I’ve stayed at in japan
Cons:
-It’s a bit of a drive if you want to get to any of the towns nearby, but that seclusions from them also has its own charm to it
Overall I loved this hotel and it’s been my favorite in Japan so far so I had to give it 5 stars
Hotel was clean and the staff were all very polite and helpful. The beds were a little uncomfortable, the AC didn’t work well and the room was hot but we were able to open the windows which was nice. Overall, the hotel was dated and guest rooms could use a renovation
Hotel situated at a beautiful location by the lake with a view of Mt Fuji when weather is clear. Nice walk to forest area. We had a spacious room in annex building. Air conditioning could have been better but not a problem. Buffet style dinner at lakeside restaurant was excellent with plenty of choices, although a bit pricey. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Free shuttle bus service to station comfortable and punctual.
The staff is attentive and the onsen is very relaxing. The hotel sometimes feels like a maze. Even though it said on its website that they had a SPA continuously, it was closed for the day we went (tuesday); double check that. The buffet breakfast is definitely worth taking. The walks around the hotel and next to the lake will show you beautiful sights. Walking distance to the waterside shrine and the Laketown.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The meals were very good and the location was superb. We enjoyed being able to walk by the water and also enjoyed spectacular views of Mt Fuji during our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The staff were lovely and the setting is so peaceful. Book a lake view room. We did and it was so worth it as we could see Mt. Fuji from our room.

The location is beautiful, amazing views but the hotel is a bit old. We went to Hakone to relax and spend a night enjoying the onsen but we weren’t unable to get in due to having tattoos something that the website should have in more details instead of having it in the small print. The tv was only in Japanese so we couldn’t watch tv. The elevator was not working we had to carry 3 luggage down 3 floors and the sign on it was only in Japanese and I touch the bottom an it shocked me. I was very excited to stay but I was kind of disappointed.
I am grateful to the service rendered by Nitta Teruo san and his team at the hotel. I had lost a hairline at the onsen area and thought I would never get it back. The hair clip, though small, was used by me since my pregnancy and had sentimental value. Teruo san went above and beyond to send the hair clip back to my next hotel in Tokyo. I really appreciate the team for going the extra mile to make our stay at the hotel a pleasant one. The hotel was huge and and the onsen was simply lovely. We will be back for sure!
A comfortable and well-run hotel with good service and a pleasant lake view. The Japanese-style breakfast was very good, though not outstanding. The free shuttle to Odawara Station was very convenient, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Overall a solid stay, even if the atmosphere felt more like a large hotel than a unique experience.

Grand old hotel that needs some updating but otherwise has a beautiful corridor that leads to the lobby. Very pleasant & comfortable place to stay with beautiful lake frontage & view of Mt Fuji. My room was spacious & nice with view of lake & mt.
Everything was wonderful. The staff were helpful and efficient, the room was amazing the view was spectacular, the breakfast was great, the onsen was wonderful. I hope maybe some day I can come back ❤️
Wonderful stay. Fine dining on the property was superb. Staff was friendly and property beautiful location. Onsen has a lot of traditional rules and restrictions, but we were able to enjoy a few times.
