Beautiful property, the private tub was amazing! The dinner was absolutely wonderful, and we were lucky enough to catch their summer concert. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer a free shuttle to their other properties and to Gora station which was extremely helpful. Clean room with plenty of amenities!

This was the last hotel of our travels around Japan and I am glad we saved it for last. For our family it was perfect and an amazing experience. We stayed in one of the villas which are a short walk from the main building. The villa was really quaint, with its own inside and outside bath. We enjoyed the food experience, as we were staying 2 nights we ate one night in this hotel and the other nigjt we got the shuttle bus to their sister hotel for the all you can eat buffet. The staff were all really friendly and helpful

A quaint Ryokan with everything you need- private onsen if you want one in your room, breakfast and dinner. Breakfast has options of western or Japanese. The room we stayed in was clean and our onsen was great. We stayed in the lower floor and the only thing I can really nit pick is that the lower floor and our room had a subtle but noticeable scent of mold. Other than that, our stay was great. Staff was very kind, and the hotel is a bus stop for the main Inzan bus and the other main bus which was very convenient. We didn’t try the public baths or venture to their exhibit on the second floor. Coffee came from a machine in the lobby, accessible 24 hrs. If you want a unique experience, this place is one I would recommend. Just know that it looks older and quaint in comparison to other hotels but that’s part of its charm.

Beautiful property providing a lovely ryokan experience. Friendly staff, great authentic Japanese dining experience for dinner and breakfast, convenient bus stop out front and access to shuttle bus. We stayed in a quaint room with a private bath and Onsen. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This is a lovely property. We had a large corner room with a nice view. A good sized living room as well as the bedroom. The kaiseki dinner was excellent and the wait staff were helpful and polite. The onsen was hot at 44.5 deg and it relaxed me after a day of touring.

I loved this hotel. It was so relaxing. The food was traditional Japanese and some was really good and other stuff was not my favorite. I opted for the outdoor bathroom and private osen and strongly recommend that! Especially if you have tattoos as they are not allowed in the public osen. The Hakone area wasn’t my favorite but that’s not the hotels fault.

Hotel was set against beautiful mountains with green lush landscape all around. The onsen was a wonderful treat at the beginning and end of each day. Rooms were traditional and clean with very nice bathroom toiletries. The food was amazing and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive.

Exceeded expectations. We booked the Ryokan as we are a young couple visiting with my sibling for the first time. The traditional suite without the private Onsen was far larger than what we expected based on the provided photos. The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast was also plentiful. Staff were kind and English friendly. We are very excited we chose this Ryokan and would recommend to anyone.
