Great stay. This hotel is a bit out of the way but worth it. Room was nice, extra sink outside the bathroom which is auper convenient when multiple people are getting ready to go. Fitness room is the nicest weve seen at a hotel. There is a nice pool and hot tub as well as a game room. Great breakfast with lots of choices and is constantly monitored and good

Nice hotel. Our room was L shaped and had a little sitting area with a couch and another TV. We had windows facing two directions. Nothing special with the view, but I liked the extra sunlight shining in. We didn't spend much time at the hotel to use the amenities, but the pool looked nice. Fitness area looked great, lots of equipment and a nice solarium attached. Wish we could have spent some time in the cool rec room that had a pool table, air hockey, pacman, pinball machine that currently wasn't working, among other things. We didn't get to the breakfast room until a half hour before it ended. Options weren't fully stocked, but they had quite a bit of stuff; pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, scambled eggs, etc. Located a few minutes from an awesome bar/restaurant/dog park called Paws and Pints. We didn't eat there, but my bloody mary was good if you like it a little spicy. It was great watching the tons of dogs having a great time. Off the beaten path, but only 20ish minutes from downtown Des Moines.

Excellent facility and amenities. Best free breakfast in a hotel anywhere!!
Matress was too soft and we prefer firm.

I liked everything about the property. The only thing that was slightly disappointing is that the jets in the hot tub were not working, only the air blower, but everything else was EXCELLENT. The room was fabulous, and the breakfast was AMAZING!!
