We had arranged a late check in and were told it was 24hr check in but open arrival the reception staff was very judgemental of the time we were checking in. We had transport problems coming from download festival and arrived later than we had hoped and we were in mucky wellies which we took off as we entered as cleaning was being done which I can understand staff being frustrated but overall we just felt very unwelcome. Receptionist also avoided handing me the receipt directly and when we asked for a late check out he said he was "feeling generous" so he'd take £10 off the hotel room. They only had accessibility rooms left which didn't have a bath but overall it was a fine presentable room with what you'd need. We had issues with our key card not working in the lift and room and we were advised it was due to us arranging a late check out.

Absolutely lovely hotel, staff very helpful and friendly, room was perfectly clean and lovely. Parking available but it was full so we used one just over the road and it cost us just over a £5 with the hotel discount for overnight parking.

Dirty bedlnen, room not as booked. Homeless people drinking on the bench and sleeping outside. Breakfast not fully available. TV not working, no one came to fix it. Staff over stretched and stressed. I would swerve.

Pleasant property with very friendly staff who went above and beyond to be welcoming.
The room itself had a very large bathroom, but the actual sleeping / working area felt a touch cramped. Fine for a short stay though, and with great views over Derby.

The staff were excellent, the elevator card entry was not working correctly, my television would not shut off, the toilet in my room had not be flushed upon my arrival. It was alright only.
