Not a good experience for me. The staff is friendly and the grounds are nice, but that's not hard to find in Bali.
The wifi didn't work for me and it took them a few hours to fix, although they did try their best. The whole complex needs new air conditioners, which are small and old and not equipped to handle this kind of heat. That's especially true in the small fitness room, which was so hot I couldn't use it.
Even the pool was hot; in fact, due to the heat and the layout of the pool, it was the warmest water I've ever swam in.
To top it off, they made me wait while they checked the room, but somehow forgot to notice, or notify me, that I had left my computer and phone charger behind.

The Pavilions is set back off the main road through Sanur, it is very quiet woth no noise from traffic.
The villas have a good size pool about 7m long 2 m wide and 1.25 depth, so good for a short swim.
The villa has a fridge and icebox handy to pop am icecream in. TV in the main room. A good size bath and outdoor shower. The bed has a mosquito net that you can pull around the bed. Joga was our excellent butler.
The Jahe restaurant is great for dinner, we also had breakfast here a few mornings but you can get breakfast delivered to your room. Too many names to remember here sorry but stop by on an evening for a cocktail.
The pool area has an all day light menu fabulous sandwiches.
Tania was my spa lady where i had a great pedicure and foot massage.
There is a small gift shop by reception which some lovely trinkets.
Sanur itself has lots of nearby restaurants, the beach is about 800m there is no direct access. Once on the beach there is a paved area for a couple of miles that you can cycle or walk. (Bikes available to hire on the main road).
Would i come back- yes i most certainty will.

The pool villa was secluded, private and very quiet. Would definitely stay here again. We checked in late which was well handled by security, quickly getting us to our room and settled. Breakfast in the villa each morning was a treat.

This hotel was just wonderful, from the moment we arrived we felt so warmly welcomed. The villa itself was just beautiful. The grounds are lovely and the restaurant at the hotel is just wow, the food was so yummy and the setting is so beautiful. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The Pavilions Sanur is a brilliant place to stay, it's quiet and secluded, the Villas are of a very high standard and the staff and team are so helpful and friendly.
