Not as bad as it sounds
Posted 27 Jun 2017 on HotelsIf u a backpacker it's ok to stay for the price. Saw few cockroaches and other bugs near the bed and bathroom. There is no fridge in the room but it ok I guess aircon works great and has nice swimming pool. The bed was comfortable in every way and nice and quiet area not much noise

dirty room / bad food
Posted 24 Aug 2016hotel not near main strip in Sanur and in a rough area. It is close to airport. Rooms were very dirty, stains and burns on bed sheet, hairs all over floor, headboard needs a good clean. We ordered lunch and was not very nice at all. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ok for price but would not stay more than one night.

A hotel in the middle of nowhere
Posted 6 Mar 2015
Pros: Nothing sorry but this is trualy a boring hotel good maybe for someone looking for a low cost and not to far place from the airport to sleep
Cons: The staff and management of the hotel.
Location: Nothing to do because the situation of the hotel is in a recluse part of town. No restaurants or others things to see or do close by.
The pictures are true and the rooms modern. the price via Expedia is ok. We where ending our month and a half in Indonisia and figured we where going to stay close to the airport and go to the beach.
The rooms are exactly like the pictures . But there is a smell of urine in the bathroom. The walls are very thin and you hear every thing that is going on in the hotel. There where more than forty school kids partying all night long. ( in the pool and every where). Of course the price of the rooms make it possible. The security guy was yonguer or as young as the teeagers. So no authoraty there was possible. The staff smiles a lot but are unprofessionnal. They are also to young. Curiously, the play and laugh toguether like young children.
The hotel had pratically nothing avalable on the menue except for The indonesian part of it. They where all out of every thing. It was very basic. You have to check your bill because they over charged us twice. The only staff really working was the cleaning crew.
The hotel offers you a shuttle to the beach but they do not pick you up at any given time.
They only have four beach towels for the pool. You may not have one for yourself (???)
We paid for 3 nights but stayed only 2 (not refundable) the management understood the " inconveniance" of the kids partying but did not whant to refund the night we where not staying there. We went elswhere and where very pleased to finish our trip at the Puri Maharani hotel.
Pardon my mistakes, I'm french.

Marscity 3*? they must be on Mars!
Posted 2 Jan 2015 on HotelsNice from the outside but very cheap on the inside. The corridors are loud and echoey. The bathrooms are tiny, with cold water and made of plastic. TV and beds are nice. But the food, location and overall cleanliness of the hotel were a manor turn off. We could only stand one night. We met other people who checked out early for the same reasons. This hotel is ok if you are local and don't mind the 2* experience, but orherwise go elsewhere for the price.

Nice hotel newly opened, quite isolated
Posted 21 Aug 2014
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff
Clean and modern
Cons: Buffet breakfasts
Extra pillow in room
Location: Quite isolated. Take the shuttle to Sanur beach which is lovely with nice eateries right on the beach
The staff were very friendly and efficient. We asked for non smoking and were put in a smoking room, quite unpleasant and the smell remained for our entire stay.
The room was not very soundproof so we could hear other guests at the swimming pool and outside our room.
Buffet breakfast was a choice of rice, meat dish and green vege dish, which was a bit disappointing. On our last day we were given breakfast from a menu which was really nice. The hotel is very clean and modern but still needs to add a few extras. The bar only stocked beer(Bintang) and soft drinks, only 1 pillow each on the bed and no soap dish near the sink. The shower was not very hot in the morning but fine if used in the evening.
There is a free shuttle bus that will take you to either Sanur beach(10 minutes) or Galleria shopping centre (15-20 minutes). There are a few roadside eateries close to the hotel but we didn't try these
