The pillows were very flat. The shower was wonderful. Internet connection was fast. Convenient location within walking distance of decent food. We had a room looking over the mountains. Don't get a rear view unless you like dirty parking lots. This room served it's purpose for the price. We didn't spend much time there.

Truly appreciated the evening staff who waited for us to check in late like 9 pm due to tour bus being late from Denali.
Wished that the shuttle bus were at the train depot when we arrived yesterday at 1 pm. We only could walk to the tour bus from our hotel room instead of dealing with other courtesy to bring our bags to our hotel.
Overall, it was nice place and walking around for many purposes.

Although this is an older property, it is very well maintained. The room was immaculate and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Convenient laundry on premises. The location was ideal. Easy access to tours, restaurants and shops.

Stay in the motel two nights. The kitchen helps a lot for easy meals. It’s only 1.5mile away from Denali national park.

We stayed 3 nights. No one at front desk at check in, they knew we were coming. I asked front desk a few questions on final day about if there was a place to store our luggage in the park before we took the train, she said no, correct answer is yes at the visitors center $1 per hour. I asked which bus stop do we get off for train, she said bus stop in park, wrong correct answer visitors center. Not sure how after 5 months she was this clueless. On Our final night we were in room C4 next to employees and hotel laundry room, they washed their boots and washers ran for hours, no sleep for us. On day of check out, which was also their last day of the season they shut the tv service off. Check out was surpose to be 11 but upon check in we were told 10 am. Bed was worn out. We paid $250 a night for this. A couple of good things if you go before the end of season there is a boardwalk of stores and probably one of the only places that has a fridge and microwave in the room.

Thank you for staying with us. I would like to clarify some points regarding your stay that may have made you feel that way. You arrived at 8 pm and the office was not closed, as we knew you were coming and we closed at 9 pm; the office clerk just stepped out for a moment. Sometimes they store luggage at the visitor center, but sometimes they don't. Thanks for letting us know they do it for 1/hour. We didn't realize the laundry was bothering you because you were out of the room during the day and we ran the laundry between 11 am and 5 pm. Check-out time is 10 am, as listed in our website description. You may have missed this information if you got shocked when we told you that during check-in. Thanks for letting us know you liked our rooms with fridges, microwaves and our boardwalk with all the stores.

Posted 13 Sep 2023 on HotelsThe room was clean. Loved the forest wood theme. The wi-fi worked and frig and microwave nice. Only issue was the fan on the wall, the cord didn’t reach the plug. But there was another fan to use. Overall would stay here again.
