We picked the Holiday Inn Express for a few reasons, but we knew we would have some down time and wanted to relax by the pool. When we got there and inquired about the pool, we were that the manager had left for another location and that the pool was not open. Then when I paid for the room, the price I was told or charged was $100.00 more then I was given by Expedia. The person at the front said that they charge that for incidentals and if there were no issues with the room that I would be refunded in about 14 days... UNEXCEPTABLE!

Thank you for choosing our hotel. The hotel has advertised that the pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Our pool was open and ready to all of our guests the Friday before Memorial Day. The 100.00 incidental fee is described under Rules and Restrictions.

Room was average, walk in shower needed cleaned better. Our room did not have a remote to the TV or batteries in the smoke detector.

The room was run down and dirty. For the amount of money charged this room / hotel it should have been at least above average overall. I like Holiday Inn Express so there are no surprises. This was an unpleasant stay in Salisbury, MD.
