This property was very disjointed and dated. The property had 3 buildings and guests needed to access walkways to access our building (building 3) from the other buildings. The property was outdated and didn’t seem very fresh. When I opened our in room fridge I saw a short black hair on the in door shelf in the fridge. Definitely overpaid when I booked this room. Prices were comparable at other hotels in this area that appeared much newer, cleaner, fresher.

The staff was very helpful. Unfortunately the air conditioning went out in our room overnight. The breakfast has something to eat but nothing out of the ordinary - but the young man working the room was awesome!

The rooms are really outdated. With my old body it was hard to use their 1970’s toilet & try to get up from it. The mattress was horrible. Just everything. Lobby is lacking. It’s just a really old hotel that hasn’t been updated much.

Only complaint was the breakfast was a little less than - no very many choices - would have been nice to be able to take advantage of that but there was nothing really for protein for a picky family that was going to go hiking at spearfish
