Hotel room was clean and very spacious for our family of 5. It was a pleasant surprise to see the basketball ball court(half court) in the back. The quality of the hoop and court was outstanding.

The staff were all very friendly to us and the room we stayed in was very clean. We’ll definitely be staying here again in the future.

I waited fifteen minutes to check in with nobody at the front desk. The sign said they were helping a guest and would be back soon. There was another couple walking outside and they looked at me and said, good luck checking in. We waited forever to check in. I tried calling the front desk and still nobody answered. Finally, after the lobby was crowded, someone came in and checked me in. However, I looked over and saw a sign that said the pool was out of order. She said, didn't anyone tell you or call you? I said no. She said that Expedia had a wrong number for me. She asked me if I wanted to cancel, I said and go where? Had I known the pool was down, I wouldn't have stayed here. There wasn't anything that was a deal breaker for me other than the pool but there definitely wasn't anything that was positive for me either. A moderately expensive hotel for the amenities and services that were provided. I probably will choose not to stay here again.

Jaylin, Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know about your stay with us. I am very sorry to hear it took us extra time to get you checked in, I will address this with the staff. We do try to provide excellent service to all out guests, sometimes this takes us away to see to other guest's needs. In regards to the pool, unfortunately it was down, and we tried contacting everyone we had contact information for. Often times when booking on 3rd party sites, we are not given your full contact information, nor can we load onto 3rd party sites this information. However, this should have been listed on the confirmation letter you received from Expedia informing of the closure. We do have it listed on our brand page as well. Regardless if it's this hotel, or any hotel, or any site you book on, if you are seeking a pool we recommend you contact the hotel directly to ensure they haven't encountered any mechanical issues with their pool causing a closure. We want everyone to have an enjoyable stay with us and I'm sorry you didn't receive this information prior to checking in. I hope you will give us another opportunity the next time you're in the Davenport, IA area.

1st time staying at a Homewood Suites - Fantastic!

This was one of the nicest experiences our family has had at a hotel. The entire hotel was clean and tidy. We'll be choosing Homewood Suites often in our future travels!
