This hotel was in a convenient location. 5 min walk to the beach! It’s on a very main road though so you can hear honking late at night and early in the morning. There is a 24 hour minimart right next door that was convenient and an ATM. We rented a motorbike from the hotel which was also convenient. We have been overwhelmed with how friendly staff have been in Vietnam and just didn’t get that vibe from this hotel. There was a buffet breakfast 2 mornings (it was so-so, and the staff seemed very confused that we wanted to eat there and we would pay, it wasn’t included in our room rate) and then the third morning the restaurant was empty. When we asked about breakfast they said that it was a-la-cart and you had to order the day before. When our motorbike ran out of gas at night and the gas station was closed, we walked the bike back to the hotel and they showed us Google translate on their phone “bike broken, you pay”. Da Nang was a really busy city, not to our taste and I think the hotel just didn’t add anything great to our trip.

Staff was really friendly. Rooms were really clean, comfortable, and spacious.

Value of what you pay for

The check in reception can only speak 10% English, super difficult to communicate. The check out reception is a lot better, at least 60%. II don’t expect the reception can speak another language in different country, but have to have a way to communicate . The worst thing I don’t like is the toilet is right next to the shower without any separation, so every time after you take the shower, the toilet will be wet. You need to take the toilet paper to a safe place to make sure won’t get wet. The housekeeping is doing a good job, the room is clean. To be fair, you only pay US$20 for a night, you cannot expect anything, but those are the things for the improvement.

Overall okay. Near the beach but a bit far away from town for walking distance.

In a great position.close to the beach. Good breakfast. And staff more than helpful. Would stay there again.
