Set in a quiet country lane not far from the M6 - but plenty far enough to be completely rural and peaceful. This was a perfect stop off point for heading north. Good hearty breakfast and very friendly owners. Will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the quiet countryside setting and the bedroom was warm, welcoming and comfortable. We had a lovely quiet night's sleep, followed by an excellent cooked breakfast!

It was good value for the money but there are rooms for improvement. The bedding wer0e dirty but I noticed before check out there were spare ones. The shower water temperature fluctuated (very small heating package system. No slippers and floor was freezing cold. Breakfast was very limited. Location is good if you were on holiday and wanted to enjoy horse back riding.
Overall fair value.
