Beautiful historic lodge takes you back in time to a quieter pace. I loved not having a tv in thr room which forces one to read or just rest. You're less than a 5 minute stroll to the spring swimming area. The Lodge also features a quick bite parlor/gift store as well as sit down fine dining. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at the restaurant with a window table overlooking the springs. The narrated jungle cruise 40 minute boat ride down the river is a value at $8.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. The meals in the dining room were very good and the service was great. The only complaint the I have is that the bed mattress was extremely worn and uncomfortable. The Lodge needs new mattresses.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was excellent and the food was so good at the restaurant. Everything was perfect!! Everyone was so nice and was always asking to help. 5 star!!

This lodge is a hidden gem. The property is beautiful, clean and the staff is very polite. The food at the on-site restaurant was excellent and so was the service. If you’re looking for a quiet get away this is the place. I’m not sure if they allow it but this would be an excellent wedding venue.
