We were walking the Shropshire Way and the White Horse was a nice place to fall into at the end of a long day's walk. The food was wholesome and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The bar area was popular with locals celebrating a football match win and this lasted until around 10:00 pm when it all subsided into a gentle placidity.
The breakfast in particular was delicious.

Warm, friendly pub. The food for our evening meal was a little underwhelming.
The rooms were fine, if on the small side.

Posted 16 Apr 2023 on HotelsAnother amazing stay at the White Horse .... it's like coming home such is the welcome by Jack, Hannah and the staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable food is wonderful and Clun is just delightful.
