It was close to Lake Moomaw. Parking with a boat is a little tight. But the ownwer worked with us and made it work, He is a great guy!

Spent night prior at quality inn in w va that was very nice ,so wasnt hesitant to book in Covington Va. For 120.00 it was awful. Small, very dark in room. Bathroom not clean. Grounds dirty and people hanging outside that looked like they lived there. Breakfast was pretty much nothing and what was there was not good. It was late and we were tired otherwise would have left. Go elsewhere.

The air condition unit was ripped out from the wall. The one day it got warm, it was very hot in that room. The room was very dark. We had to ask them for a bulb to replace the one that was not working. My son went ahead and replace it himself. The stairs and balcony very dirty.They were replacing the floors of the empty room below me. They were parked in the only handicap parking space they had. They worked on the room until 10 pm. When i called the office at 9:30 pm, he told me he will have them hurry it up. No respect for guesr space. I heard a noise and a man was standing in front of my door on the phone, smoking a cigarette. The manager and staff was very nice but they need to get the place in order and remember that people pay for the convenience of that space.

Mike was the man. We were down to fish moomaw lake. He made sure my boat had a spot to be charged and provided a cord. He also woke up at 4:30 am to make us breakfast for the day. Awesome trip.
