What I like is that their was another hotel next to us that didn't mind us coming over and using their area.

Everything we needed
Posted 22 Feb 2017This hotel is not big or modern but it's clean. Friendly staff and right on the beach. Which was almost like a private beach when we stayed as there were hardly any other people. The water was warm and clean. A negative is that our room 67 shower had hardly any water coming out of it which made it hard to rinse the soap off. And it would be nice to have a soap for the hand sink and one for the shower. The beds were comfortable and it wasn't noisy so was able to get a good nights sleep. I would return to this hotel in Covenas.

Pros: The pictures on the announcement seems to be a really nice place, but the location is not really good.
And the hotel is not really 3 stars.
Cons: The manteniance of the instalations in general, they are still some rooms under construction, they did not clean the pool, there is no bar inside.
Location: In the second cove, there is a real beach, some restaurants and bars, a lot of hotels maybe worse than this one, but not as expensive as this one.
Where this hotel is located it does not have beach, it is in front of the ocean but without beach, the nearest nice beach is about 1km away.
It has pool but is really small and too dirty.
The first night we had a problem with the air conditioning and the toilet, the first one was dripping over the bed and two pillows, they fix it partialy and the other day the will fix it at all. and the other one did not flush (the tank was not filling water).
After they fixed the air conditioning, the green light of the air conditioned, was exactly over our heads, so we could hardly sleep the second night.
The breakfast is not included and the costo is not 4 COP as the announcement.
So i did not recomend this hotel. on the other hand the local manager is a really good person and he tried to solve every problem to us.

Nice pictures but terrible truth!
Posted 2 Dec 2014The hotel has a nice location, but is really dirty. The Bathrooms have fungus in the shower and the walls. The beds are really uncomftables.

There is no beach!

Pros: Only the kindness of the staff. The rest is not nice.
Cons: Everything!
Location: Not nice neighborhood! There is not a restaurant at the hotel and the ones close by, are terrible!
Pool not nice, jacuzzi with no heater (cold water), no beach, no retsaurant!
This should not be classified as a hotel!
Photos in the Internet are not what you find at this place.
