The room lock was broken. Upon inquiring was told that that I can choose to leave as they can't do anything about it. Inadequate room service. No shampoo, etc in the room. Breakfast was poorly managed. No one was there to even refill the items.

Don't let the outside fool you. I was kind of worry because the surrounding properties looked unkept and not in such a good area but this Best Western was AWESOME. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Friendly staff, beauty room. We stayed the night before flying back home after being in Port Aransas for a few days.

Beautiful lobby. Very quiet. Great breakfast but ran out of food both days. That is to be expected on holiday weekend. Pool was murky, full of kids and out of towels. Only a few minor imperfections in room. Parking was full. Property felt safe with overnight security. Water pressure and water temperature in shower not great. Elevator was sketchy. We still very much enjoyed this beautiful hotel.

We were anxious to check in after a hot day at the beach. Our room wasn’t ready yet even though we didn’t arrive until 4:30pm. No biggie. After we got to our room, showered and got ready, we discovered our feet were now black (yes, black) from walking barefoot in our room. Pretty disgusting in my opinion.
