"Small rooms and bed was comfy, the carpets could do with a deep clean or even removing completely; given that it is a pet-friendly hotel, I’d suggest the latter. Besides that, the hotel is comfortable and well located. Cheap and cheerful and dog-friendly. "

"I stayed at this hotel at Manchester for an appointment, but sadly, it did not meet the expectations of a luxury stay. The walls, especially in the bathroom, and even the TV tables were not clean, which is far below what I’d expect from a five-star standard. The staff were also not welcoming; I went down for breakfast just as it was ending, and even though food was still being packed away, no one offered me any alternative. The manager acknowledged me but made no effort to help. Overall, I left feeling very let down, as it didn’t come close to the standards I expected from a five-star hotel.”"

"Being able to have the hound with us is the number one reason for our stay here 😎 Our room was clean and functional. King size bed, but not much space around it - not a problem if, like us, your days are spent exploring the city; speaking of which, this location is *ideal* for sewing everything central Manchester has to offer. For the hounds, Parsonage Gardens is a few minutes walk away, for those mandatory comfort breaks and a place to play. A couple of minor maintenance issues handed over to staff, nowt to impede our enjoyment of the stay. Would be happy to stay here again. "

"The room was good: spacious, clean, and with a nice view over the street. I would have given it a 5 star if we had not been woken up by the cleaning staff on both mornings. The first morning it was at 9:16 am. The young cleaner asked me if she could come back to clean 20 minutes later but I was in my pyjamas and still half asleep. I told her to clean when we are not around at lunchtime. She said she might not be there anymore. We complained at reception and specifically asked for no cleaning before we check out on the following (and last) day. The cleaner opened the door even earlier on the last day at 8:49am and we were still sleeping and in bed. I had to shout (half asleep from the bed) that we were sleeping. Sadly, there seems to be an issue with the cleaning team as they do not seem to know when people are in or not or if people have checked out already. Or maybe they just want to finish early? Or they want to make sure we check out on time? This put us in a bad mood on both days. How can you get the timing for cleaning so wrong? There was no sign ‘Do not disturb’ that we could have put on the door. "

"We enjoyed every bit of our stay at the hotel, the decor is top notch, the food breakfast and dinner is beautiful. The ambiance and the location is perfect. We love everything."

"Great hotel, clean, great service and great breakfast. On the quieter side of town, 5/10 minute walk into Deansgate, Station and multiple bus routes from hotel. Hotel has an Italian restaurant and food was good. There are local bars and restarts I. The near vicinity. Would recommend "
