Absolutely recommended. The host and staff were amazing. Love the beautiful setting. Room and property were clean and very well maintained. Can’t wait to come back.

Soooo much nicer than Alba
Posted 26 May 2017 on HotelsSuch a wonderful host. Friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms are really cute. Quiet location in a nice little town just a 15 minute drive from Alba, much nicer than staying in the city. It's what I thought it would being like staying in Piedmonte. Great pool with lots of sun and nice courtyard. There is a fantastic Michelin Star restaurant just a two minute drive away from the property. Make sure to go if you get the chance. One of the best meals we had in Italy. Can't say enough nice things about our stay there. 5 stars+

Posted 31 Oct 2016 on HotelsMy girlfriend and I decided to go to Alba for the Truffle Fair, and we wanted to stay in a place which really represents the region. Thus I did some research to try and find out a nice place to stay.
After having browsed lots and lots of places in and around Alba, I decided to book this place, because it looked lovely, somewhat romantic, and very authentic to the region.
Well, I have to say, we were not disappointed. The owner was very nice to us, and she gave us a warm welcome. She showed us our room, and moments later, our jaws dropped. It was such a nice room, simple yet with lots of regional character. The place was spotless, and the heating was working very well. The bed was very comfy. It was a semi-hard matress, so I liked it even more.
The breakfast was very tasty and delicious. The owner's kids baked fresh biscuits and bread every morning. It all tasted so fresh.
Well, it was a pity we had to leave, because I would have loved to spend some more days in such a peaceful and relaxing place.
We'll definitely come back to this place. We made happy memories here.

Casale Mattei er et helt igennem fantastisk sted. Det er gennemført til mindste detalje. Dejligt roligt og med service på et meget højt niveau.

L'attenzione agli ospiti è davvero notevole, abbiamo apprezzato la tranquillità della location, il relax in piscina e la colazione genuina e gustosa. Speriamo di tornarci davvero presto, capita poche volte di sentirsi a casa lontani da casa.
