Old dirty small family room

Don't stay if arriving late evening
Posted 29 Aug 2023 on HotelsThe hotel itself is fine, the room is well set up for a family. Liked the upstairs space. It was clean and functional close to both the tunnel and ferry. However, it isn't in the nicest of areas and unfortunately our sat nav sent us the back way round the commercial centre were we witnessed a very unpleasant scene between some men. This was at 11pm. This distressed our daughter. This isn't the hotels fault just be aware if staying with children. The car park is in a security fence but the gate is broken car alarms were going off so we didn't feel comfortable with all the holiday stuff in the car. We didn't have a great sleep as a consequence.

Pas recommandable pour famille
Posted 9 Aug 2023 on HotelsChambre familiale minuscule, sombre, mal aérée. Douche infestée de moisissure.
Mauvaise insonorisation.
Petit déjeuner pas a la hauteur des photos sur internet, plus de pain frais a 7h déjà...
Personnel en revanche très aimable.

Great for quick snooze before heading south
Hotels.com need to provide a booking reference so you can check in without calling their helpline (who were very useful…)

This was a cheap and cheerful one night stop over after travelling from the North of England to catch the Shuttle to commencde a European holiday. This was close to the terminal and clean and comfy bed. It wasnt the Ritz but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very close to the tunnel, easy 24 hour check in, although we had to key in our entry number a few times to get access our room!
Motel-style accommodation, with the family room having twin beds on a mezzanine above the en-suite. This meant it was hot at night and the air con didn't work properly. But it was fine for one night and very convenient for travelling through the Eurotunnel.
