Anonymous guest so I have to guess, but we just had a guest in house that we accommodated more than a half a dozen times with lock outs and walking the unit with her and so much more. Yet she still complained and was upset because the unit did not have AC which is the norm in Summit County. We can only be our best hope guest are the same. Sometimes you just can't please!!

This place was so bad, dirty, terrible condition we turned around and walked out. Even thought I know I already paid we went to a hotel. Worst place I've ever seen :(

It’s too bad you did not give us an option to respond in anyway I never heard about you having issues until this review. I do remember you being frustrated from not reading the email check in instructions. We’ve had many people stay in this property and be extremely happy, so I only can assume that some of this stems from your frustration as previously mentioned

Poor

Check in was complicated using ROcky mountain management. Beds so uncomfortable. No stair exit on 3rd floor. The pictures online are deceiving

Check in is simple and we send out several emails explaining it days before, the morning of at 6am and when the property is clean and ready to occupy. Beds are a judgement call, some like the harder and other softer. The pictures online are the exact of the property booked.

just ok

I know we were in a tourist area but the room it self was a 5 out of 10 at best, very small with 2 queen beds. The communication from the property management was very good and helpful but the room itself was subpar.

Sketchy Dorm Room meets Motel 6

Posted 11 Feb 2020 on Hotels
Booked this unit 12 hours before heading there, happened to be during the "Dew Tour" at Copper so this literally was the only unit available. We were there simply to ski as it dumped for 5 days straight. I would describe the unit as Sketchy Dorm Room meets Motel 6. Below are pros and cons. Pros: Unit (Motel Room) is in East Village 50 yards from Super Bee lift. Has a microwave and small frig Good outdoor lighting Cons: VERY dated unit and building Check in is located 20 minutes away in Dillion at Rocky Mountain Resort Management If you loose a plastic room key they charge you 25.00 Only outdoor parking (and very limited) Pillows are PAPER thin (thank God we brought pillows from home) THIN walls, you can not only hear room next to you but also across the hall way. Bring a sound machine.

The property was filthy upon our checkin. There was a broken lamp, dirt and hair balls on floor. The bathroom floor was crunchy and mold in the shower. There was hair on the bed sheets and the blanket was old and also was full of hair with a dust ball on the sheet. The room smelled musty and the bathroom had a bad odor. The beds were terribly uncomfortable and had a sag in the middle. The internet was very slow and there was no working cable. They never fixed the cable prior to our departure and it was impossible to watch tv due to the poor internet service. I called to complain and they were completely unresponsive to my issues. The following day, I again called and they argued with me on the condition of the room, they did send someone to partially clean the room. The room was also very noisy, everything could be heard from the hall and nearby rooms. The management was poorly responsive and argumentative. When I tried to call to report that the cable was still not working, my phone number had been blocked. The management even hung up on the Expedia representative when they tried to resolve the issue. The hotel refuses to give me any money back for the poor condition of the room and has been non responsive to Expedia. Avoid this property.

This is guest is claiming to Expedia that they never came and are disputing the charges on the claim that they did not come at all! This email proves they did!! This guest also claimed they slip on the steps outside and said they were going to sue! We offered the the HOA info and they declined? The room was perfectly clean and ready for the guest early. We did however come out and full clean the room again. They would not let maintenance stay and fix the cable so we came back after they left and fixed it in about 2 minutes. After cleaning the room again, to her specifications, she called the next day and said it was still dirty, we did not clean it again. The mold is another lie. Her phone number was not blocked, cell service in the area can be poor at times. Internet is part of the HOA and when it is busy (like it was) with lots of user it is slow. No one hung up on Expedia! AVOID THIS RENTER!

Overall kind of disappointing

Posted 27 Nov 2019 on Hotels
Upon checking in we waited approximately 20 minutes to get the key and instructions to check into our unit. I don’t know why the kid left his post, especially during a peak check-in time at 4pm, but it was highly unprofessional and it’s not something you want to deal with after a solid day on the mountain.. The kid also showed barely any signs of apology. When we opened the door to our room we were greeted with a huge strong smell of a festering trash bag that had been left there for days/weeks! I covered my face, and tossed it into the dumpster while my friend opened the windows.. Took about 20 minutes before it was clear to go inside. Other than that we didn’t really stay inside the place that long, we are pretty active. We just needed a spot to crash. Oh and the cable was out too, we missed about 10 minutes of Monday night football, but we ended up going to a bar instead.

Because they posted as anonymous I will leave it that way, however I personally went to the property to get them in; even though all the instructions clearly state that they are to come to the office. We did not request that they do so we simply drove the 20 minutes that it takes to get from Dillon to Copper. Other wise it could have been closer to an hour for them. The rest is simply not true. I went inside to check the unit for them and specifically to make sure the hotel they rented was locked off from the rest of the unit and there was no trash in the unit and there was no smell. I would have taken it out for them. I checked the TV in that room and it was working just fine so I am not sure if the cable provider or the building was having an issue, but unfortunately we do not have control over that. They were grateful that I showed up and did not make them drive to Dillon then, so I am not sure why they are writing this review, however it will not effect how we manage guest in the future that make mistakes. Best wishes.
