Great stay at the Secret, friendly staff, they prepared our room early. Breakfast was very good, lots of variety. Dinner was just okay, better to eat in the town. The consierge, Anh, was absolutely fantastic, extremely helpful, great recommendations, she really went above and beyond for us, cannot thank her enough!

What a gem. It won't be long before the "secret" is out. This is an outstanding hotel in beautiful Con Dao, immediately across a beautiful white sand beach stretching a couple of kilometers. The rooms are top notch, spacious, and highly functional. The hotel restaurant, Spice, is lovely and airy. I tried the crab rolls and traditional beef pho. Both were delicious. The staff throughout are kind and helpful. One can even rent a scooter for the equivalent of USD 6 per day, a highly recommended option to tour the main island (be sure to visit the brilliant national park). Con Dao is amazing. It's a small paradise, still without the hordes of foreign tourists very present elsewhere in Vietnam. Come visit while it's still this way, and you won't miss out by staying at The Secret.

Great resort on a beautiful island
Posted 23 Jan 2024 on HotelsLovely hotel on the edge of Con Son town. Great location! Could walk into town very easily.
Rooms were lovely, spacious, modern and enough places to put luggage.
Secret Restaurant was fantastic (even though we were the only diners).
Breakfast had a lot of options.
Had an issue with the shower which was handled oddly, by British standards, but was fixed promptly.
Also, in terms of staff Ang was fantastic her English was great and she helped us book an island tour on our last day.

Clean rooms I wish they could cater to business travelers more with better rates and services like lager hotel chains do this would attract more business here I would love to come here again if they could do more for better prices
