Conveniently located 10 minutes from downtown Perth, the property is quite rundown and in need of upgrading. That said, it was quiet and comfortable, and walkable to local shops, bars, and food outlets.

I liked the Chinese /Indonesian ceramics/art work around the hotel.
The room was spacious as was the bathroom.
Balcony was a bit narrow.
Hotel manager was very polite and sorted out the issue with the TV not working.
We did not like having to pay for secure parking - I didn't see this in the details about the hotel and although only $15 a night that was one of the reasons we chose to stay there - when staying there before parking was free to people staying there.

Room was clean on arrival, pool was nice and spa was great after a day of site seeing around perth etc.
The staff seemed a bit tired and over it not very welcoming.
There should be different price options for breakfast as charging a flat rate of $30 per person is a bit steep considering most people only grab a few items.
All up i would stay again.
