Dear Management, I am writing to officially lodge a complaint regarding my recent experience at your hotel. The events that unfolded on the night of Friday, April 12, 2024, were wholly unacceptable for an establishment in Germany. Upon returning to the hotel around midnight, my companions and I discovered that our card key was not functioning. We promptly proceeded to the reception desk and attempted to contact the number provided. Despite multiple calls, we received no response initially. Eventually, after persistent attempts, we managed to reach a member of your staff. However, the assistance provided was inadequate. We were merely directed to obtain another key for an alternative room for the night. While we were grateful for having a place to sleep, the experience was marred by the fact that my medication was inaccessible in our original room. Consequently, I experienced difficulty breathing throughout the night, resulting in considerable discomfort and sleeplessness. While I understand the absence of late operational desk and check-in procedures, I believe that emergency situations should be handled with greater urgency and care. I wish to emphasize that I intend to escalate this incident to the relevant authorities in Germany. Such oversights should not recur, as they pose serious risks to guests' well-being. Consider, for instance, the potential ramifications had the situation involved an infant instead of myself. I trust that you will take this matter seriously

Great facility. Modern, all the amenities you need for a hotel. Great breakfast selection between traditional German food and American. Friendly staff!

Was okay, breakfast had a variety of food and drinks.
It’s walkable to the rhein river, parkhouse is directly under the hotel
A brewery is next to it same as mcfit and police.

Freezing cold large room

** Don't stay if you like to be warm. The heat only goes to 22c. 90% of the time it was at 21c. Coming in from a day out, you had to wear your jacket.
The beds were small and extremely hard.
The staff was friendly and house keeping checked in everyday. The front desk did bring up extra comforter because the room would not stay even at 22c.

Ideal for trade fairs

Hotel is middle of the road for sure. Definitly not "premium". Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful. Good European style breakfast. No lunch or dinner. Restuarant right next door is authentic German and very good. About a $35 USD cab ride to Cologne city center. Must call for cab. Close to Cologne Messe convention center.
